For the past few years, Adcorp has consistently been rated one of SA’s most empowered companies on the Johannesburg Securities Exchange in terms of the Financial Mail’s Top Empowered Companies Survey rated by empowerdex with a certified overall black ownership of 33.33%.
It has also been rated as the most empowered company in the services sector for the past five years, and has been rated as a Level 2 BBBEE contributor in terms of the Department of Trade and Industry’s Code of Lead Practice.
Adcorp’s empowerment credentials flow from a group-wide transactions in 2007. It created an opportunity for all employees to share in the group’s financial fortunes and brought the Women Investment Portfolio Holdings (Wiphold) into the shareholding structure. BBBEE has been incorporated into every part of the group’s business.
